Mary Young

Mary Ann Johnson Young, 46, of Eubank, passed away Friday, August 6, 2021 at Vanderbilt Medical Center.

She was born in Somerset on August 1, 1975; daughter of the late George Matthew Johnson, Sr. and Ruby Cuppernell Johnson. She enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren, and was a very loving and good hearted person. She was a member of White Oak Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children, Nicole Neal, Tammy Neal & (Shane Mullins), Dakota Young; a step-daughter, Kayla Young; a brother, George "Red" Johnson; grandchildren, Aaron Gossett, Jennie Gossett, Journey Waddle, Cameron Maynard, Neveah Mullins, Brylan Braden, Junior Delay, and Preston Delay; special niece and nephew, Kendra Johnson and Cody Patton Johnson;a great nephew; Jaden Johnson and a great niece Olivia Johnson and a special friend, Sherry Edwards; like a brother, Gary Compton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Lee Buck Johnson; grandmother, Josephine Smith Johnson; and an aunt, Elsie Smith.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, August 12, 2021 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Johnson Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 12:00 PM Thursday, until time for services.

The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Mary Young memorial fund, C/O Pulaski Funeral Home.
