Maxine Meece Ping, 78, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Blue Ash, OH on September 29, 1938; daughter of the late James K. and Hattie Meece. She was a retired bookkeeper in the healthcare industry. She is survived by her husband, John "Jack" Ping whom she married on June 7, 1958; two daughters, Jwania & (Nick) Pack, and Myra & (Don S., Jr.) Cornett; Grandchildren, Heather & (Kevin) Hess, Brandon Cornett, Caleb Lowndes, Hannah Lowndes; a great-grandson, Aiden Michael Hess; brother, Donald & (Ella) Meece.She was preceded in death by her parents, James & Hattie Meece; a brother, Harold Meece; and a sister, Juanita Sears.A funeral service will be held at 1 PM, Monday, April 24, 2017 at Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Phelps and Bro. David Skaggs officiating. Burial will be in Mill Springs National Cemetery.Visitation will be after 11 AM, Monday, April 24th, 2017 at Pulaski Funeral Home.Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
