Michael Grant

Michael Duane Grant, age 71, passed away peacefully at home, where he felt most comfortable, on Friday, October 31st 2025. Michael was born in Adrian Michigan on January 28 1954 to his mother, Edna Marie Grant.

Michael had been married to his devoted wife, Darlene Grant, for 34 years, until she passed in 2023. They had a loving & caring marriage and can count on one hand the number of arguments they had during the beautiful life they shared.

Michael will be remembered for his steadfast character and the love he had for his friends, family and country.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Edna Grant; his wife, Darlene Grant; his brother Jim Grant; his sister Joyce Ann Messer and son, Richard S. Powell, Jr.

He leaves behind to cherish his wonderful memories, his brothers Douglas Grant of Somerset KY; Randy Grant (Tammy Lewis) of Adrian MI; his sons, Michael Grant, Jr of Acworth, Georgia; Anthony Grant (Frankie Biundo) of Ann Arbor, Michigan; Joe Grant of Jackson, Michigan; and Jimmy Grant of Acworth, Georgia; his daughters, Tanika Powell (Ryan Lehman) of Dayton, Ohio; and Lexi & Johnny Brumley of Somerset, KY;

And his cherished grandchildren, Haylee & Austin Brumley, Mickala Powell (Kinley Mann) Dakota Ryan, Reilly & Trey Powell, Anthony Grant, Jr, Ethan Grant, Terron Grant, Joseph Grant and Lillee Brumley.

He also leaves behind special nieces Dawn and Lori Smith and a host of other family and friends who will miss him fiercely.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 8, 2025 in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home at 1:00 PM.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time for services.

Burial will follow at Renfro Cemetery.
