Naomi Faye Meyer Judy of Somerset, KY passed away August 15, 2026 at UK Chandler Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Louisville, KY on August 1, 1947. She was a graduate of Dupont Manual High School and Eastern Kentucky University. Naomi was a reited math teacher with the Pulaski County School System and a member of PCRTA and KRTA. She enjoyed playing Bridge, flowers from her rose garden, attending High School graduating class reunions, beach vacations in South Carolina and Florida, singing in her church's choir, and reading in the afternoons with a cup of coffee. She valued her friends at First Presbyterian of Somerset and cherished her family.
She was preceded in death by parents, Herbert and Faye Meyer of Louisville, KY, nephew, Timothy Meyer and niece, Elizabeth Bryant.
She is survived by Marchall Judy her husband of 57 years who she wed in Louisville, KY in June of 1969, her children Gregory Judy (Tammy) of Franklin, TN and Kimberly King (Jason) of Somerset, KY, four grandchildren, Lauren and Grayson Judy, and Jalyn and Addison King as well as her brother, Dr. David Meyer (Donna) and Nephew Seth Meyer of Ann Arbor, MI, sister-in-law Sarah Katherine Bryant and nephew Jeff Bryant, both of Lexington, KY.
A private graveside burial will be held at the Millerburg Cemetery in Millersburg, KY.
A memorial/celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Somerset, KY.
Burial arrangements are arranged by Lusk McFarland Funeral Home Chapel in Paris, KY one my sign their online guestbook at www.lusk-mcfarland.com
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to First Prebyterian Church, Somerset, KY.
