Ola Jean Abbott

Mrs. Ola Jean Whiles Abbott was born September 9, 1928 the daughter of the late Elva Whiles and Nellie Bly Fugate Whiles. She parted this life on September 27,2019 reaching the age of 91 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband, Janis William Abbott on February 14, 1981, and a son, Joel Gene Abbott. She is survived by two sons; Janis Wayne Abbott and Truitt Lee Abbott. She is survived by one daughter, Lana Kay Abbott Warman. She is also survived by one brother Leon Whiles; and by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers; Arnold, Harold, Ferell Glen, Dale and Floyd Whiles and a sister Juanita Whiles Cash and a Granddaughter Tammy Lynn Abbott. Ola Jean loved her church and her Lord. She was faithful to Buena Vista Baptist Church and attended regularly as long as she was able to. A funeral will be held Wednesday, October 2, 2019 11 AM at Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Hampton and Bro. Jamie Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. Ola Jean Whiles Abbott will be from 5-8 PM Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at Pulaski Funeral Home. Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
