Orville C. Dykes

Mr. Orville C. Dykes, son of the late William Riley and Love Helen Soard Dykes, was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on December 16th, 1951 and he departed this life on December 16th, 2022 having attained the age of 71 years. He was surrounded by his loving family at the time of his passing.
He was united in marriage to Daisy Mae Phelps Dykes, she preceded him in death.
Survivors include; two sons, Chris (and Anne) Dykes of Houston, TX and David Dykes (and Denise Bishop) and his longtime companion, Robin Candella; four brothers, Ivan (and Rita) Halusek, Melvin Halusek, William (and Mary) Halusek, and Art Dykes; one sister, Dorothy (and Raymond) Rhorer; and a vast host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends who mourn his passing.
Orville spent a long and distinguished career in the publishing industry. He was also a Vietnam Army Veteran having served his country during the 1970's. He loved spending time with his family and he also enjoyed travel, golf and playing cards.
A funeral service for Mr. Orville C. Dykes will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 20th, 2022 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Butte and Wendy Brunke officiating. Burial will follow in the Goodwater Cemetery.
The family of Mr. Dykes will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 12:00 noon Tuesday until time for services.
