Randy Hargis

Randy Lee Hargis, 73, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2025 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on May 28, 1952; son of the late Vestal Hargis and Bertha (Slavey) Hargis Taylor.

He cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren, especially working on tractors. He had a lifelong passion for mechanic work and a special fondness for International Harvester tractors.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Linda (Stogsdill) Hargis whom he married on May 12, 1972; his daughters, Vickie & (Chad) King, Debra & (Tony) New, and Miranda & (Will) Turner; nine grandchildren, Heather & (Tyler) Heuberger, Shawna & (Cain) Walden, Jacob & (Leigh-Ann) New, James & (Kaelyn) New, Gabriel Turner, Alexander Turner, Randalin Turner, Tytan Turner, and Odelia Turner; ten great-grandchildren; a niece and nephew, Amy & (Casey) Wethington and Mark & (Vonda) Herrin; an aunt, Joyce Hall; four great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vestal Hargis and Bertha (Slavey) Hargis Taylor; a sister and brother-in-law, Brenda & (GA) Herrin.

A funeral service will be held at 12 PM Friday, July 25, 2025 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Raymond Ridner officiating.

Burial will be in Burkhart Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-9 PM Thursday, July 24, 2025 at Pulaski Funeral Home.
