Raymond Bengie

Raymond Bengie, Jr.; 79, husband of Dona Bengie, passed away Friday, February 12, 2021 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital

He was born in Everest, Kentucky on August 20; son of the late Raymond Bengie, Sr. & Edna Johnson Bengie. He loved wood working, and old guns; he enjoyed growing flowers, and loved to watch birds. He was a retired construction worker from Laborer's Local 741. He was a United States Army Veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Dona Page Bengie, whom he married on October 7, 1959; five daughters, Marita & (Allen) Smith of Albuquerque, NM; Tina Dotson of Albuquerque, NM; Allishea Caudill of Somerset; Carla & (Arnold) Granado of Albuquerque, NM; and Glenda Ethier of Coventry, RI; grandchildren, Sirena Peters, Zeriah Smith, Jeremy Bengie, Jason & (Billie Jo) McKeown, Clayton & (Cecelia) Caudill, Kyle & (Heather) Caudill, Alex & (Ruth) Granado, Dona Granado, Jordan Ethier, AnnaBella Bengie, Wyatt Bengie, Travis & (Andrea) Thompson, Dustin & (Ashley) Thompson; fourteen great-grandchildren, a daughter in law, Patricia Bengie. He was the uncle of Dottie Riede, Junior Wheeler, Renata Addison, and Glen Wheeler.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Bengie, Sr. & Edna Johnson Bengie; and a son, Billy Ray Bengie; a sister, Roslyn Louise Burns; and a brother, Billy Carl Bengie.

Private services will be held.
