Robin Nees

Robin Ruth Reese Nees was born, September 25, 1946, in Danville Illinois to Bruce McLean and June Wilcox Reese. She graduated from Jamaica High School in 1964. She worked at Walgreens Accounting. She was married to Mike Swank; they later divorced. Robin married Ervin Lee Nees and he survives. Also surviving is a daughter. Candice Michele Simerson, of Somerset KY and step son, Rodney Nees of Tomah WI. She is survived by three grandchildren Jordan Maggard, Peyton Maggard, and Jesse Simerson and Mike Swank. She is survived by 3 brothers Michael (Fran), Pat (Kathy), and John (Shawn) all of Illinois. Two sisters Katy (John) Thornsbrough and Kelly(Mike) Reese, also of Illinois, and brother-in laws Lee Fisher Preceding in death were her parents, 2 sons Michael and Mark, and sister Ann Fisher. She accepted Jesus as her Savior as a child. She enjoyed raising flower Gardens and doing this around the home. Her children and grandchildren held a special place in her heart. She was a kind Christian lady who will be deeply missed by all who knew her and she leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn her passing. A funeral service honoring Mrs. Nees will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 13th 2109 at the Science Hill Nazarene Church with Dr. Greg Ryan officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Mrs. Nees will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday March 12, 2019 and at the Science Hill Nazarene Church from 10 a.m. Wednesday until time for services. In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland, 100 Parkway Drive, Somerset, KY 42503 Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
