Rosetta Marie Abney

Rosetta Marie Griffith Abney, daughter of the late Donald and Christine Dykes Griffith was born April 09, 1960 and she departed this life on Monday, April 20, 2026 having attained the age of 66 years.
She is survived by her husband, John Abney who she loved with all her heart and soul. two very lovely special step-daughters, Leah and Larissa. She had a very special love for Leah and Larissa and so many wonderful memories. 4 step grandchildren, Etysia, Jadyn, Faith, and Marcus; 3 nephews, Don and Karen from Athens, Alabama, David and Vachel from Monticello, Kentucky, Clayton and Tanya Haynes of Trenton, Ohio; two nieces, Sarah and Scott Mixon of Somerset, Kentucky and Wendy Griffith; 17 great nieces and nephews; and 6 great great nieces and nephews She loved her family as they were her greatest joy. She is also survived by a host of other relatives who mourn her passing. Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death by Wanda and Bob Ping, Donald Griffith, Connie and Kenny Haynes, her still born daughter, Dawn Marie from a previous marriage and a nephew, Nathan Haynes. Her many years of being a nurse was very rewarding, she always felt she was doing what God wanted her to do. She always believed she became a nurse because God knew her mom, sisters and brother would need her. Now the links of her family chain are linked back together, she will be waiting for the rest of her loved ones to join her on those beautiful golden shores. A funeral service for Rosetta Marie Griffith Abney will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 28th, 2026 at the chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Don Griffith officiating. Burial will follow in the White Lily Cemetery.
The family of Mrs. Abney will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. Tuesday until time for services.
