Roy Wayne Preston, 70 of Nancy Kentucky, formerly of Danville Kentucky, departed this life Friday, December 11,2020.

He is survived by his wife Dianna Preston of Somerset, his children, Brian & (Cindy) Preston of Nancy, Kentucky and Randa & (Gary) Gill of Jacksonville, North Carolina; his brothers, Ronnie & (Judy) Preston of Danville, Kentucky, Daniel " Danny " & ( Linda) Preston of Florida and Bill " Joey " & ( Kimberly ) of Somerset Kentucky, grandchildren;Alexis Michelle Preston, Xaiver Wayne Preston of Nancy, Kentucky , Quinton &( Myrranda ) Gill, Kristan Gill & ( Stephen Draheim) of Jacksonville, North Carolina, great grandchildren, Kinsley Faye Lewandowski and Carson Opie Draheim.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Dorothy Preston and a nephew Lance Preston.

Roy loved and proudly served his country and was a retired Sergeant of both The United States Marine Corps and The United States Army. He was a veteran of Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He loved the Military and his family.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Mill Springs National Cemetery.
Miltary honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post # 38.
