Russell Martin

Russell Martin, 65, passed away September 13, 2022 at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky.

He was born September 24, 1956 in Bronston, Kentucky to Estil and Leona (Decker) Martin. Russell worked in Construction as a paver for the Hinkle and Allen Companies for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as having get-togethers where he could spend time with his friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Estil and Leona (Decker) Martin and two sisters; Betty Sellers Martin and Nancy McLendon.

Russell is survived by his wife, Monievia (Mounce) Martin, sons; Russell Lee Martin and Kimberly Simpson, Dustin Martin and his wife Grace Martin and Keith Martin and His wife Dori Martin, Brothers; Sam (Melinda) Martin, Wayne (Judy) Martin, and Sisters; Cindy (Barry) New and Connie (Jim) Burton. He also leaves behind six grandchildren. Russell will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 1:00 in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Alexander's Chapel Cemetery in Bronston, Kentucky.

The family will receive friends Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 11:00 AM until time for services.
