Ruth A. Broyles

Ruth A. Broyles, daughter of the late Lewis B. and Rebecca Keller Claunch, was born May 28, 1929 and she departed this life on January 20, 2018 having attained the age of 88.She was united in marriage to Mr. John W. Broyles on June 30, 1953, he preceded her in death.Survivors include; one daughter, Joy Broyles of Lexington, KY and one nephew, Mr. Mike Broyles of Somerset, KY.Other than her parents and husband, Ruth was also preceded in death by; one sister, Marie C. Leese.Ruth was a member of the Southside Church of Christ. She enjoyed travel, the Cooking and Home and Garden shows, gardening and she was the "Adopted mother, and grandmother" to many families in her circle of influence.Ruth was a kind lady who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.A funeral service for Ruth will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 24, 2018 with Bro. Mickey Ray officiating.
