Sandra Tarter

Sandra Tarter, 73, of Somerset, Kentucky departed this life on Monday, August 14th, 2017 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.   Sandra was the daughter of the late Charles R. “Bob” Simmons and Mary Clines Simmons who survives. Sandra loved the Lord and was a devoted member of Saline Baptist Church.   She was united in marriage to Curtis Tarter on June 22, 1962, he survives. To this union was born a son Charles “Chuck”, (and Tracie) Tarter.  Also surviving is one grandson; Aaron (and Brooke) Tarter; one granddaughter, Keely Shea Tarter and one great grandchild, Kinsley Kate Tarter.  She is also survived by a sister, Bobbie (and Tim) Picard; a niece, Jean Claire Picard and her son, Zackary Burton; her nephew, Jay Picard and his son, Xavier Cash Picard; a sister-in-law, Elgie Weddle; her aunt, Virginia Clines, and cousins, Gina (and Kenny) Irvine and Mary Kuhn Edwards.  She also leaves behind a host of niece, nephews and other relatives.   A funeral service for Mrs. Sandra Tarter will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Saline Baptist Church with Bro. Noah Broughton officiating.   The family of Sandra Tarter will receive friends at the Saline Baptist Church from 11:00 am Thursday, August 17, 2017 until time for services.   Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.   In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland, 100 Parkway Dr. Somerset, KY 42503.   Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family of Mrs. Sandra Tarter.
