Shawn Leslie Lipps

Shawn Leslie Lipps, age 54, passed on Monday, December 20 at the Cumberland Nursing facility in Somerset. He was born in Newport Beach, California and is preceded in death by his father, Ray Lipps; his grandparents, Wilburn and Dora (Henson) Lipps, Robert and  Marie (Scarnier) Bogue, Survivors include his mother Vicki Marie "Bogue" Lipps and other family members, Robin Bouge, Karen Sue (Bouge) Jenkins, Eugene and Maggie Lipps, Lisa (Lipps) Boyd, Kristina Hubbard, and James and JoAnn Harris.

Shawn was disabled by a car accident in 1986. Even though he was totally dependent on others, he maintained a wonderful personality and lit up the room with his smile. We were truly blessed to have him in our lives.

Shawn will be buried along with his father at Mill Springs National Cemetery on December 30, 2021 with services at 1:30 PM

Ray Lipps, Shawns father, passed away in 2016 and was cremated. His remains will join the casketed remains of Shawn and they will rest in peace together at Mill Springs National Cemetery.

Military honors will be conducted at the Graveside by the American Legion Post 38, and Chaplain Clarence Floyd will officiate.
