Stanley "Stan" Raney

Stanley "Stan" Raney, 58, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018 at his residence.He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on March 21, 1959; son of the late, Cressel A. and Hester Blevins Raney. Stan was of the Baptist faith.He is survived by his siblings, Lillian Raney, Laura & (Ed) Thompson, Sharon Gilliam, Janet & (Chapp) Caldwell, Sheila Raney, and Richard & (Kathy) Raney, Sr; step-children, Kristina Pettyjohn and Henry Goins; three step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; caregivers and special friends, Amanda Yates and Ashley Kimberl.He was preceded in death by his parents, Cressel and Hester Raney; and his wife, Tina Raney who passed away on October 17, 2017 and one sister, Clara M. Raney. He leaves a host of other relatives and friends who mourn his passing.A celebration of Stanley's life will be held at the Pulaski Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2018.Visitation for Stanley "Stan" Raney will be from 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 12, 2018 until time for a celebration of life service.In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of Donations to the Pulaski Funeral Home in memory of Stanley Raney.Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
