Stephen "Steve" Andrew Wall, age 64 of Somerset, KY passed from this life Saturday, May 23, 2026 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
Steve was born July 22, 1961 in High Point, North Carolina. He was the first born of Leon Fisher Wall and Gloria Smith Wall.
Steve graduated from Brevard High School in 1979. He enlisted in the United States Air Force Reserve in 1980 and proudly served his country for seven years. After his time in the Air Force Steve began his career in lumber sales from which he retired in 2018.
Steve was an avid hunter and fisherman. Nothing excited him more than opening of Deer Season and hunting wild boar at the hunting camp in South Carolina. This is totally evident by all the mounts hanging throughout his and Dinah's home.
Steve loved the Ocean. Each trip to the Ocean, he would start talking about going back immediately after leaving to come back home. He loved standing on the beach casting a line.
Steve met his wife, Dinah in 2016. He moved to Kentucky and married her in 2018. Soon after, he became a member of the Woodstock Baptist Church. Over the last 8 years he devoted himself to his family and small farm. His days were spent taking care of his goats, chickens, ducks, and his dog; Fisher, who was without a doubt his favorite. Beginning every spring the planting of the garden began. He definitely had a green thumb. He loved planting, tending and watching his garden grow.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents.
Steve is survived by his loving wife, Dinah; two stepsons, Waylon (Kala) Amburgey, and Fred Thornsberry, four step-grandchildren; Alyssa Amburgey, Charles Amburgey, Sawyer Amburgey, and Harlan Amburgey; one brother, Mark (Paulette) Wall; one sister, Elizabeth (Robert) Wright; one niece, Brooke Wright; one honorary brother, Don (Pam) Fabons; one honorary nephew, Brandon Fabans along with many friends who will miss him. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2026 at the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Daryl Jesse officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodstock Cemetery in Eubank, KY.
