Suzanne M Donovan

Suzanne M. Donovan, 76, of Somerset, Kentucky formerly of Anniston, Alabama passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at her daughters residence in Nancy.

She was born in Chicago, Il on March 31, 1945; and grew up in Boulder Co. and traveled the word as a military family before retiring near Anniston Al; daughter of the late James "Jim" and Marie (Tomaszewski) McCarron.

She was an English teacher, who had a love for reading and writing. She was a member of St Charles Catholic Church. Her kindness, compassion, positive attitude  and sense of humor will be dearly missed by her friends and family. 

She is survived by her daughter, Dr. Cynthia Donovan & (Dr. Eric Greenwell) of Nancy, KY;  her son, Charles "Chad" Donovan of Anniston, AL; her sister, Marida Dillon; her brother, Jim & (Mary) McCarron; her brother in law, Jim & (Lauri) Donovan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Donovan; and her parents.

A celebration of life service for Ms. Donovan will take place on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 3:00 PM at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends after 1:00 PM Saturday, January 15, 2021 until time for services. 

Inurnment will be in Anniston Memorial Gardens, Anniston, AL with a memorial service to be held in May at the cemetery. 

The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to American Cancer Society, Bethany House Abuse Shelter, A pet Charity of your choice, or the Gayle Cummings Martin Endowment Scholarship Fund at Mercyhurst University
