Thomas Garland Stogsdill, son of Harold Lee and Gertrude Garland Stogsdill, was born on

December 5, 1951, in Somerset, KY. He departed this life on December 11, 2025, at the age of 74 in his home.

Tommy proudly served two years in the Army during the early seventies. Known for his easy-going nature, quick wit, and steady hands, he brought warmth and humor to those around him. A lifelong construction worker and concrete finisher, Tommy took great pride in his craft. His rare gift for repairing almost anything made him the go-to person for countless projects. Complaints were never his way-no matter how hard the job or challenging the circumstances. Life was met with quiet strength and a touch of humor.

Above all, Tommy cherished his family. He leaves behind his beloved son, Chris Stogsdill; two grandsons, Mason (Katlyn) Stogsdill and Jackson Stogsdill, who brought him immense pride and joy. His legacy lives on through them. Surviving family also includes two sisters, Sandra Butler and Jennifer (Mike) Phelps; one brother, Jeff Stogsdill; and his former wife, Judi Hall Stogsdill. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Allen Butler.

He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him. A celebration of life ceremony will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday January 17th at the Pulaski Funeral Home. The family of Thomas "Tommy" Stogsdill will friends at the Funeral Home from 1 pm until time for services. Tommy's remains will be laid to rest at Mill Springs National Cemetery on Tuesday January 20th, 2026 at 12:30 pm. Military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post 38.

The family would like to thank his entire VA care team, especially his nurse Kathy, and Hospice of Lake Cumberland for their compassionate care.
