Timothy Profitt

Timothy Joe Proffitt, 47, of Mt. Vernon, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at his residence.
He was born in Xenia, Ohio on March 4, 1978; son of Hazel (White) Taylor and the late Hargis Delmer Proffitt. He worked as a builder in construction. Tim was a caring individual, who regardless of the struggle, always had a kind heart.

He is survived by his mother, Hazel Taylor; his girlfriend, Crystal Hull; his first wife, DeeDee Proffitt; a son, Matthew Proffitt, a daughter, Ashley Exline; siblings, Sherry Taylor, Laura Taylor, Hargis Proffitt, Jr., and Amanda Proffitt; grandchildren, Torren Exline, Tyrone Keeton, Alexis Keeton, and Payton Ely.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hargis Proffitt; and his grandson, Trevor Exline.

A celebration of life gathering will be held from 12 PM until 2 PM Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home.
