Vickie Vance

Vickie L. Vance departed this life on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Rockcastle Regional Hospital.She was the daughter of Silas and Lucille Mosley Tankersley. Vickie was born on May 30, 1955 in Hamilton, OH; and raised in Florida most of her life. She married David Vance on Nov. 14, 1970 in Bain Bridge, GA. When Vickie was active she was a manager for Revco Drugs, and was a former waitress at Reno's. Vickie loved life and her family. She enjoyed making dream catchers, and walking canes. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband David Vance; a daughter, Rene Vance; a brother, Kenneth Tankersley; and a sister, Wanda Hall. She is survived by her son, Danny Vance; his children, Damond, Chris, Colden, Kinlee, and his unborn child, Joseph; her daughters children, Ashley, Tori, Brook, and Bailey; her brother, Richard Tankersley; and two sisters, Mickie Swilley and Billie Jo Tankersley.Vickie had a heart of gold, she will be deeply missed by all who loved and knew her.A celebration of life will be Sunday, October 8, 2017 at 1 PM at 311 Holiness Church Rd.
