Viola Pike

Viola Pike of Somerset,Kentucky departed this life on March 16, 2021. She was born July 9,1938 in Pulaski County and was of the baptist faith. She Is survived by her daughter Cynthia Lynn Hurley (Greg) of Science Hill; brothers, James Whitis(Ernestine), Robert Whitis (Betty), and Harold Whitis; sisters, Margaret Poindexter, Paulette Murphy both of Somerset and Mary Mink (Dan) of Mount Vernon and a host of other relatives and friends. She is proceeded in death by her parents James A. Whitis And Mary Bell Goff Whitis: brothers,Carl Whitis, Edwin Whitis, Herbert Whitis; sisters, Edna Floyd, Maxine Johnson, Pearl Hall, and Lena McQueen. A funeral service will be held at Pulaski Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Friday, March,19 2021. Burial will be in the Barnesburg Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM Friday,March 19,2021. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with arrangements. The family requests expressions take the form of contributions to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
