Virtrees L Daulton, 82 of Science Hill, Kentucky entered into the presence of his Lord on July 11, 2026 at the Jean Waddle Hospice Care Center surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born on August 26,1943 in the Naomi Community of Pulaski County, Kentucky to the late Basil G. and Myrtle Marcum Daulton. Virtrees loved the Lord and was a member of Grace Baptist Church. He was an employee of Tecumseh, where he worked as a machine operator for 28 years before retiring. Virtrees enjoyed helping others any in anyway that he could and often helped those he didn't even know. He often spent time working in his garden and caring for his chickens which along with fishing were some of his favorite pastimes. His greatest joy was spending time with is family, especially his grand children and great grandchildren all of who brought him lots of smiles and happiness. His presence will be missed by his entire family.

Virtrees is survived by his wife, Alfreda Daulton, his sons, Rodney Daulton, his daughters; Kimberly (Stacy) Dykes, Donna (Scott) Williams, Gayla Daulton Noe, and a step son, Mark (Nicole) Bogle, grandchildren; Jordan (Candice) Daulton, Joshua (Julee) Daulton, Courtney (Jake) Anderson, Alisha (Tyler) Vaught, Brandon (Arista) Eubank, Autumn (Joe) Aramini, Cadee (Elijah) Daniels, Madison Noe and Alex Senter, Ayden Dykes, Lakelynn Dykes, Amber (Natasha) McKinney, Jamie Daulton, Breanna Bogle, Dylan Stout, and Jody Gregory, his brother, Bobby Dalton and his three sisters Bernice Panter, Fern Ward, Palestine Nevels, He also leaves two special neighbors who were like grandchildren; Emilee Wright and Erinn Silverio.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Geraldine Daulton, one grandson, Jonathan Daulton, his brothers, Venus Dalton and Darmus Dalton, Kenneth Dalton, and three sisters; Louella SpragueDondrue Black, Angie Lacey and Delores Davis.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at Pulaski Funeral Home from 5:00.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Monty Wells, Bro. Don Berry and Bro. Patrick Prather officiating.

Burial will follow in the Quinton Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandchildren, Jordan, Josh, Brandon, Elijah, Jody and Jake.
