Wanda Turner Cecil, born May 7, 1945 passed away in Lexington, KY on October 1, 2020 having attained the age of 75 years. She was a Pulaski County resident for many years before relocating to Lexington during the later stages of her life. Wanda is preceded n death by both her mother and father Beulah Welcher and Maloney "Doc" Turner; three brothers, Johnny, Earl and Bill Turner; and one half sister, Francis Isaacs. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Lee Cecil and the following daughters, Colleen Cecil Vanover, Tanya Cecil and two daughters that died at birth. Survivors include; two sisters, JoAnn Maxwell and Zelma Potter; one brother, Chester "JuneBug" Turner; three granddaughters, Hannah Bell of Somerset, KY and Faith and Mercy Vanover of Lexington, KY; one son-in-law, Eric Vanover. She is also survived by three great grandchildren, Annalee, Wesley and Maverick all of Somerset. she is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and close friends. Wanda was a loving Christian woman and will be missed by all who knew her. Her family and friends are at peace knowing she has now been reunited in Heaven with the loved ones that have gone on before. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, October 9th, 2020 at the Science Hill Cemetery with Bro. Ron Shaw officiating.
