William Bandy

William (Billy) Eugene Bandy was born May 22, 1946, in Stone, Kentucky ans passed on to his final reward on November 23, 2025 at the Cumberland Nursing and Rehab Home in in Somerset, Kentucky. He was 79 years young.

Billy is survived by his wife of 55 years, Pamela (Tononi); Brother , James T. Bandy, married to Mary E Bandy; and neice Sabrina (Duke) Rivera.

Billy was in the Air Force during the Vietnam War and worked as a Jet Engine Technician. He was employed by Sprint and AT&T as Fiberoptic Manager for many years. He lived most of his life in the Dallas - Ft. Worth area and his work took him to Kansas, New York, Montana, Washington State and Kentucky. Upon retirement he and his wife moved to Bethelridge, Kentucky where they resided for the past 13 years. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Liberty, Kentucky.

Billy loved fishing and he could be caught out on his boat doing just that, by himself or with his brother or his friends. He also loved rididng his motorcycle.

Billy was preceded in death by his beloved son, Tracy G. Bandy, mother, Aretta (Ramey) and father James C. Bandy, sister, Linda Gail Duke, brother -in- law, B. G. Duke, and nephew, Brian Duke.

Billy's wishes were to be cremated, and his memorial service will be heald at the Dallas- Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, Texas. The date has of yet not been determined.
