Wilma Linkes

Wilma Fern Linkes, age 84, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at her residence.

She was born December 8, 1940 to the late Estill Otis and Iva Dean (Poynter) Price in Somerset, Kentucky. Wilma was an excellent mother whose love and devotion shaped every life she touched. As a homemaker, she created not only a beautiful home but a place filled with laughter, comfort, and unconditional love. To her grandchildren, she was truly one of a kind - a source of endless warmth, wisdom, and joy. Above all, Wilma was the first and only true love of her husband, Wayne, with whom she shared 58 years of deep companionship and unwavering devotion.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne Linkes; two children, John & (Melissa) Linkes and Alesia & (Randy) Flynn; three grandchildren, Ryan & (Misty) Flynn, Taylor & (Tyler) Haynes, and Abigail Linkes; five great-grandchildren, Laikyn, Harper, Tripp, Ava, and Rilynn; one brother, Carl Price; and two special cousins, Larry and Joyce Stewart.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandchild, Austin Flynn; and two brothers, Danny Estill Price and Lorenzo "Buck" Price.

A funeral service will be held Friday, November 14, 2025 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Josh Pennington officiating.

Burial will follow at Science Hill Cemetery.
